The UV lamp causes the organisms to oxidize, which turns organic materials into carbon dioxide. The direct conductivity approach is the one used for detection. The difference between the concentration of total carbon (TC) in samples evaluated after oxidation and the concentration in samples not subjected to oxidation is the formula for total organic carbon (TOC), which makes up the total inorganic carbon (TIC). Stated differently, TOC is computed as follows: TOC = TC – TIC.
Total Organic Carbon Analyzer Feature:
- With features like online configuration, real-time monitoring, self-diagnostic capabilities, and flow speed control, our patent-protected proprietary signal management system delivers substantial benefits and ensures both safe and optimal operation.
- The goal of the low-current system design is to improve operational safety as well.
- Different temperature settings for distinct samples ensure complete sample digestion, improving measurement data accuracy.
- By adjusting the cooling module power dynamically according to the sampling volume, drying performance is improved and dry gas is delivered to the detector.
- By reducing operational errors, the automatic leak check system improves instrument performance and overall operating safety.
- The flow rate control system ensures accurate data by preventing any negative consequences caused by fluctuations.

Applications of Total Organic Carbon Analyzer:
- Wastewater Treatment
Measuring total organic carbon (TOC) emissions at the end of wastewater treatment for plant discharges helps ensure compliance.
- Drinking Water Treatment
The amount of organic matter in drinking water affects, among other things, its appearance and taste. So to ensure drinking water quality, drinking water plants need to measure TOC in both raw and treated water sources.
- Dairy Industry
Monitoring milk fats leaving the plant can increase revenues by reducing product loss and wastewater treatment costs.
- Industrial Boilers
In boilers, the TOC of heat exchanger condensate must be monitored to prevent equipment damage, production downtime and other problems.
