The total organic carbon analyzer is able to analyse samples quickly, which greatly improves the efficiency of testing.
Oxidation organism by UV lamp and convert organic stuff into carbon dioxide, which detection adopted by direct conductivity method. The total organic carbon is the difference of the total carbon (TC)concentration in samples tested after oxidation and not oxidation of the sample total inorganic carbon(TIC), namely: TOC = TC- (TIC).

By slightly altering the instrument shell to use 304 stainless steel instead of TOC-A20, TOC-A30 significantly increases the equipment’s adaptability to various environments.
Application Domain:
Internet monitoring of the food, electronics, and pharmaceutical industries, as well as filtered and injected water.
1. What is the margin of error for TOC Analyzer?
Our total organic carbon analyzer is almost error-free. The quality of the sample is the root cause of the error, for example, if there are small particles or residues in the sample, there will be an error in the result.
2. Difference between the direct method and the differential subtraction method for TOC Analyzer?
The carbon in all inorganic carbonates in water is called total inorganic carbon (IC), and the carbon in all organic matter is called total organic carbon (TOC), and the total amount is called total carbon (TC).
Differential subtraction method (TC-IC method): the specimen is introduced into the UV-irradiated persulfate reactor and phosphate IC reactor, respectively, so that the organic compounds and inorganic carbonates are decomposed and converted into CO2. CO2 is blown out by high-purity nitrogen gas and then enters into a non-dispersive infrared detector (NDIR) sequentially after being dehumidified by a desiccant tube. Using the proportionality of carbon content between CO2 and TOC for the quantitative determination of TC and IC respectively, the difference between TC and IC is TOC, i.e. TC-IC=TOC.
Direct method (NPOC): TOC can be measured directly by acidification and aeration of the specimen to remove IC, and then injected into the UV persulfate reactor. When volatile organic compounds are present in the specimen, they may be removed during the aeration process. Therefore, the TOC measured in this way can be called NPOC, i.e. non-volatile organic carbon. And generally contain less volatile organic compounds in the water sample, the impact on the determination of NPOC is negligible, that is, NPOC = TOC.
3. TOC Analyzer, what should be noted when preparing the sample?
Bottle to ensure absolutely clean;
The sealing of th total organic carbon analyzere sample bottle must be good to prevent contamination by external substances;
Try to isolate the sample from the outside world when loading the sample to prevent air pollution leading to microbial reproduction.
