The horizontal electrophoresis tank is made of acrylic and consists of two buffer chambers, each containing one electrode. The device consists of a gel comb, a horizontal electrophoresis tank, a casting tray, electrodes and a power supply.
Horizontal Electrophoresis Tank Feature:
- To view the electrophoresis bands in real time while the procedure is underway, include an integrated blue light monitoring device.
- To view clear electrophoretic bands, a flip-up anti-blue light top cover can totally block blue light.
- After five minutes, the blue light turns off automatically to prevent prolonged lighting from shortening the blue light beads’ lifespan.
- It can dissipate heat by opening the top cover for electrophoresis when monitoring is not required.
